The female pins me to the ground, the momentum of her speed knocking the breath from my lungs, and she’s fast.

I’ve watched her fight plenty of times, but it’s quite a different experience being at the other end of her deathly speed. She’s lethal, biting and scratching at my neck, and my wolf whines in alarm.

The crowd is in an uproar, chanting Chelsea’s name over and over, and for a moment I lose consciousness.

My vision fades in and out, and I’m only partly aware of the crazy she-bitch on top of me, snarling and ripping at my throat, and this is it...

My wolf and I are going to die. Never mind losing. This one is going straight in for the kill. I wonder if Natasha put her up to this. I wouldn’t put it past either of them.

They have no honor. They’re just a couple of bullies who take delight in other people’s suffering.

People like that always come out on top. They forever reap the rewards of other people’s misery, and life’s really not fair. Karma doesn’t always come back around to kick the bad guys in the ass. Sometimes, she just sits back and does nothing, and it makes you wonder...

Why bother being a nice person at all? If Karma isn’t going to punish the bad and just reward them for their crimes instead, then what’s the point?

Let’s all just be so despicable. It’s the only way we’ll ever get far in life.

No. I refuse. I don’t give a flying shit what Karma decides to do; I will not stoop to the level of a bully.

I will not stoop to the level of a sheep.

They have a special place in hell, after all. They may not suffer in life, but they’ll suffer in death.

But right now, I will be the bitch. I will be my very own version of Karma, dishing out the justice I see fit, and I am going to pass judgement on this sinner.

It’s as my wolf said; she was created in the image of a goddess pretty much, and gods pass judgment.

A buzzing sensation thrums inside my veins like a swarm of angry wasps, drowning out all senses. My vision zones in on a single point, and now all I can see is Chelsea’s disgusting brown wolf, her teeth dripping with my very own blood.

My blood. She made me bleed.

No one makes my wolf bleed, let alone an insignificant sheep like Chelsea.

My fur radiates with a moonish white glow, startling the poor wolf above me, and she squeals, stumbling back.

The light emanating off my coat illuminates her dark face for a moment, making her muddy fur glow, and I see her facial expression at last.

She’s absolutely terrified, and now she finally resembles the sheep she truly is.

A true wolf in sheep’s clothing, and I’m going to make her rue the day she ever challenged me.

I’ll make her rue the day she poured snot-colored paint over my head, which my own mother didn’t even care to wash out.
